The iPhone and iPad supports IMAP. IMAP will allow you to view emails and folders from multiple devices and keep all of them in sync.

Follow these steps to create a new IMAP connection to your CIIC email account on an Apple iOS device like the iPad or iPhone:

  1. On the iPhone, navigate to Settings.
  2. Tap Mail, and then select Accounts.
  3. Tap Add Mail Account.
  4. Complete the Name, Address (email address), Password and Description fields. Description can be anything you choose to identify this account. (contact support if you do not have this information)
  5. Click Next (this may take a minute).
  6. Since we offer standard IMAP email your device will not be able to find your email settings automatically, you need to enter them manually.
  7. Click Next once again.
  8. Ensure IMAP is selected.
  9. Enter your incoming mail server information:
    1. Hostname is normally mail.yourdomain.com (contact support if you do not have this information)
    2. Username is NOT your full email address. Our servers use a separate email address and username for higher security. (contact support if you do not have this information)
    3. Password is the same password used to access webmail
